Privacy Policy
What follows applies to tinyromp.com, where Sprout & Stomp publishes toddler activity ideas and play-based learning. It covers what we collect, who else is involved, and the rights you hold.
Why We Process It
The information is used to keep the site working, to understand which of our printable play plans and activity write-ups are actually read, to send the newsletter to people who asked for it, and — where advertising is served — to support that advertising.
Parties We Work With
To publish at all we depend on third parties: hosting, analytics, email, and where applicable advertising. Each has its own privacy policy. Advertising and analytics vendors in particular act as independent controllers, so that policy — not this one — governs how they use what they collect.
On Cookies
Rather than duplicate it here, cookie detail lives in our Cookie Policy.
Where advertising is served, third-party vendors including Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.
Categories of Data
- This site may collect technical visit data (IP address, device and browser identifiers, referrer, pages and times) and, separately, information you supply directly: subscription email addresses, comment names and addresses, and anything written in a message to us.
- On the point most relevant to parents, childminders and early-years staff — this site is written for adults, not children, and we ask that comments and shared photographs never identify a child by name, school, or location.
Our Newsletter
Mailing-list signup requires confirmation from the address given, which stops anyone subscribing you without your knowledge. Unsubscribe links and a postal address appear in every message, and we do not pass the list to anyone.
Rights You Have
Whichever framework applies to you — UK/EU GDPR, California’s CCPA/CPRA, or another US state law — you can generally request access, correction, deletion, or portability of your data, object to particular uses, and opt out of sale or sharing for advertising. Global Privacy Control signals are honoured without you needing to contact us. Our State Privacy Notice and Do Not Sell or Share page go further.
How Long We Keep It
We hold data only as long as the purpose requires. Subscriber records end at unsubscribe; comments end at deletion; analytics follow the retention window of whichever provider is in use. Safeguards include access control and transport encryption. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and we do not claim to.
Under-Age Visitors
Our audience is adult. We do not target children under 13 — under 16 in jurisdictions that set the higher bar — and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If such data is identified, it is removed.
